Cover art downloader

Find large artwork for a release by name, barcode, ISRC or Apple Music link.

Your search is sent to the data sources listed below to get a result. We do not store it.

Results come from public databases and may be incomplete. Distributor results are possible matches, not proof. Artwork belongs to its owners.

What stores usually ask for

Stores and distributors usually ask for square artwork, at least 3000 by 3000 pixels, in RGB colour, without web addresses, store logos or price text. These are typical requirements. Always check the current guidelines of your distributor and the stores before you publish.

Why the download can be smaller

We ask for the largest size we offer, but a store never serves more than was uploaded. If the original was 1500 pixels wide, that is the most you will get, even when you choose a larger size.

Rights

Artwork belongs to its rights holders. Use what you find here for reference, or for your own releases. Do not reuse someone else's cover for your own music.

Questions

Why is the image smaller than I expected?

The size is capped at the original upload. Stores keep what the label provided and do not enlarge it.

Can I reuse the artwork I find?

Not without permission. The rights belong to the artist, label or designer, so use it for reference unless you own it.

What size should my own cover be?

Check the current guidelines of your distributor. A square image of at least 3000 by 3000 pixels is the usual starting point.
